ÀLEX MESTRE explores the meeting point between industry and craftsmanship. From Mallorca, he designs and produces lamps and furniture with his own identity, collaborating with architects, designers and brands on unique projects.

Exclusive pieces, personalized and adapted to the space and the project. Limited series of lamps and furniture, produced by hand and on demand — without stocks or industrial minimums that tie your hands in the design.

Technical support and prototyping

When the design already exists and what is needed is to make it real: ergonomics advice, material selection, programming of digital manufacturing machinery (CNC) and preparation of production plans. A trusted technical partner, not just a manufacturer who executes.

For brands and publishers who want to develop a product from scratch and bring it to production, with a royalty-based agreement.

Workshop

Each custom piece goes through the same workshop, in Cas Canar. From the first sketch to the production plan, and from the plan to the finished piece — without intermediaries between design and manufacturing.

Fòrum Llanatura — Ephemeral Installation "Matèria Nua"

Full design and installation of the ephemeral exhibit for Fòrum Llanatura: Matèria Nua, at the former Ca'n Beltran factory (Inca, November 2024) — furniture, lighting and decoration for an event dedicated to Mallorca's raw materials. Developed with Elisabet Colom and Joan Martí Morro, under Raconada, the working group created specifically to carry it out.

Amarar × Llanatura — Pine and Mallorcan wool chair

Design, development and manufacture of a chair for Amarar, specialists in pine furniture from the Serra de Tramuntana, in collaboration with Llanatura, which recovers wool from Mallorcan sheep. A prototype born from the encounter between two local raw materials.
